There was a time, during the ancient days when entertainment was a necessary part of man’s daily life. The earliest civilizations have left those marks behind them. Filling the appetite of man’s heart was considered as important as filling his pockets. But as days went by, a single element changed almost everything of man’s daily routine. That element is ‘competition’.

In the modern life, quite unfortunately competition prevails in all spheres of life. Children compete with each other to come first in class; adults try to beat each other to a promotion in the office. Entertainment is an action, event or activity that aims to entertain, amuse and interest an audience (“audience” can consist of one or more people). The audience may have a passive role, as in the case of persons watching a play or opera, a television show or a movie, or active, as in the case of a video game.
